The Mexican scored his first brace for Madrid in the game against Celta. It was his second consecutive start for Real Madrid.
Three goals in two games, all in less than a week have Javier Hernandez closer to staying with a club that only a couple of weeks ago had almost forgotten about his existence. His brace in Sunday's game against Celta de Vigo confirms that Chicharito may have a chance to stay past his loan period that expires this summer.
It was a hard fought game at Balaidos, where Celta took an early lead just nine minutes into the game. Toni Kroos would even things up and then the player of the game scored his first goal to give Madrid a lead they lost right away. Before the 30-minute mark was reached, the game was already 2-2.

It would be James Rodriguez who gave Madrid a 3-2 lead before going into halftime. Carlo Ancelotti did not make any changes and Vigo seemed to be more aggressive in the start of the second half. It was a close game up until when Hernandez scored his second goal of the night from a brilliant assist by Sergio Ramos.
